I’m a Respondent and want to join forces with my Requester to expand the survey. Can I do this?
Choosing who to include in a survey peer group is the purview of the Requester (owner) of the survey. They are the ones who share the link but also an invitation token so participation in a survey peer group is effectively an invite-only party. This is very important, and we explain all of this in this FAQ item
There's no formal way to share ownership of a Poll or specific survey peer groups between users — only one account can 'own' (and pay for) it.
But in practice, collaboration is possible if both sides agree.
You can reach out to your Requester and propose adding new slots for more data points. If they agree, they’ll handle the purchase, but you can split costs however you like outside the platform. They will also be able to generate additional invitation tokens for these additional response slots. The invitation tokens are always free (survey peer group costs are a function of responses you want, not a function of how many people you are inviting to get that number of responses)
When the survey peer group report is released, both Requesters and Respondents receive the same report.
Keys are equal in access and can be shared freely.
If your collaboration spans multiple survey peer groups within a Poll (the roll-up level), the Requester can even share their Poll-level Secret Key for full visibility.
Our structure doesn’t officially recognize co-ownership, but in spirit — and in data access — you can certainly act as partners.
