How do I authorize users to manage my organization?

Organization access is granted through invitations.

From the Members page, create an invitation for the person you want to authorize and select the permissions they should receive. You associate this invitation to an email address, and we use this as part of security to make sure only the person you intended is able to use the invitation.

Salary Confidential generates an invitation link that you can share using whatever communication method you prefer, such as email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, internal messaging tools, or direct messages.

Although Salary Confidential does not send the invitation on your behalf, the email address associated with the invitation still plays an important role in verifying that access is granted to the intended person.

What permissions can I grant?

The permissions available to you depend on your own level of authority within the organization.

Salary Confidential displays the permissions you are allowed to grant directly within the invitation workflow.

Broadly speaking, we separate day-to-day survey management activities from billing and organization administration responsibilities.

If someone needs to carry out tasks across multiple areas of responsibility, you can grant them multiple sets of permissions.

Why doesn’t Salary Confidential send the invitation email for me?

Because invitations grant access to sensitive survey data.

If an administrator accidentally enters the wrong email address when creating an invitation, automatically sending the invitation would immediately deliver both the invitation link and the target email address to an unintended recipient.

Instead, Salary Confidential generates the invitation link and leaves delivery in your hands.

This creates an additional opportunity to notice mistakes before the invitation reaches someone else and avoids repeating the same typo in both the invitation record and the message delivery process.
